Information Cartwise Handles

• Grocery list items, quantities, categories, checked states, and usual groceries
• Home Check items and purchase-memory hints
• Recipe links, saved recipe names, and reviewed ingredients
• Meal plan entries and weekly grocery budget values
• Household name and local household planning names
• App settings, category corrections, and recent household planning activity
• Apple Sign In account identifier and email relay address when account backup is enabled
• Support email content if you choose to contact support

Cartwise does not sell personal information and does not use grocery, recipe, meal, or budget data for advertising.

Local Use

Cartwise works on this iPhone without account backup. In local use, grocery data is saved on the device using app storage.

Account Backup

If you choose Sign in with Apple, Cartwise uses Supabase to back up household grocery data for that account. Account backup may include grocery, Home Check, recipe, meal plan, budget, settings, and household planning data.

Recipe Links

When you import a recipe link, Cartwise fetches the page so it can find recipe details and show an ingredient review step. Review imported ingredients before adding them to your grocery list.

Support

If you email support, your message may include your email address and anything you choose to include about your grocery, recipe, account, or app issue. Support messages are used to respond to your request and troubleshoot Cartwise.

Account Deletion

Signed-in users can delete their account from Profile inside Cartwise. When account deletion is confirmed, Cartwise removes account-backed Cartwise data, deletes the signed-in account, signs you out, and clears Cartwise data from this iPhone.

Tracking

Cartwise does not currently track users across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.
